BRIFF Winners 2022

BEST FEATURE FILM

Picture
"111 Good Days" directed by Trygvi Danielsen

A model for contemporary indie cinema – extraordinary!

111 Good Days is the story of two polar opposite men who keep running into each other under bizarre circumstances in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. Random bad luck? Or is a mysterious force binding them together? “I tried to put a mirror to Tórshavn as I experience it," says Davielsen. "To reflect back to its people and the outside world how it feels to be lonely in this geographical location. Furthermore, I want to dig into deeper, universal human truths that have the power to resonate with anyone, anywhere.”
