"ELECTION NIGHT" directed by Neil Monaghan

"A nuanced take on a nightmare that is uncannily plausible. Boasting a one location mise-en-scène and superb performances from start to end, 'ELECTION NIGHT' is a must-see work of independent UK cinema."

The Britain of "ELECTION NIGHT" is a society where the public are disillusioned with traditional politicians and the 'establishment.' Many believe in a new optimistic rhetoric from a firebrand socialist party, the Progressive Social Alliance. Others put their faith in a populist far-right movement, the New Britain Party, headed by former newspaper baron Dominic Drummond. As the election results pour in, five liberal-minded friends gather to watch the TV coverage. But outside NBP supporters are rioting and claiming a rigged election. There's a knock on the door and three people desperately seeking shelter from the violence enter the fray . . .
"DOGWOOD" directed by Steve Sale

"An incredibly visceral tale of artistic triumph found within the confines of modern society. With its loose narrative and episodic structure, this film is a tone poem and an epic meditation on our throwaway society. A real achievement."

Martin (Joe Newton) is a casualty of society. He is unappreciated and overworked as a salaryman in the city. With mounting pressure on his shoulders, he experiences a breakdown at work and loses his job. After visiting his childhood home to collect some possessions, he opts to not go home but instead chooses to live off grid in the vast woodland. Here he attempts to survive, to try and find himself again, through being amongst nature and his love of writing poetry.
