Brighton Rocks: 15 - 21 June 2026
Brighton Rocks 9th Annual Festival will take place 15 - 21 June 2026 in three iconic city venues. It will screen over 200 films and include panel discussions, Q&As and special talks. The full programme will be published on 1 May 2026.
Brighton Rocks 8th Annual Festival (16 - 22 June 2025) screened over 200 films to thousands of attendees, receiving funding from the British Film Institute (BFI) and MET Film School. The Guest of Honour was Phil Davis (Quadrophenia, Vera Drake, Brighton Rock).
Venues
DALTONS BRIGHTON is a multipurpose arts venue quite literally on Brighton Beach, just a stone’s throw from Brighton’s Palace Pier and famed LGBTQIA+ hub Kemp Town. The venue has a fully equipped bar and breakout area, making it the perfect forum for indie filmmakers to share experiences and get their creative juices flowing.

​DUKE'S AT KOMEDIA is the younger sister to Brighton's iconic Duke of York's is a two-screen cinema with bar and kitchen in the heart of the city's swinging North Laine district. We are delighted to be returning to the cinema for the 3rd year running.​​​​


THE ACTORS is above the beautiful LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community friendly pub in Kemptown (formerly known as The Marlborough). The venue takes its inspiration from the theatre pub tradition that has, since the Victorian era, been a feature of Brighton's rich relationship with the performing arts.
