Samuel Rose

Samuel is a Sussex-based filmmaker. His practice focuses on artistic film production and immersive installations, creating specific atmospheres and aesthetics through the medium of experimental film making. His most recent installations have incorporated homemade props and costumes and sophisticated audio manipulations. He currently works in Hypha Studios, a charity repurposing disused retail spaces in urban centres. Samuel is aficionado of art house and world cinema, and film in all its many forms, and he is particularly passionate about festival programming. He is a recent graduate of the 'Film Programming' course run by the Independent Cinema Office in association with the British Film Institute.
